There are two easy ways to get your website files onto your 7x hosting: the Plesk File Manager (no software needed) or an FTP client like FileZilla.
Option 1: Plesk File Manager
- Log in to Plesk and go to Websites & Domains → your domain → File Manager (or Files in the left menu).
- Open the
httpdocsfolder — this is your website’s public root. - Click Upload and choose your files. To upload a whole site, zip it locally, upload the .zip, then use Extract Files.
- Make sure your homepage file is named
index.html,index.htm, orindex.php.
Option 2: FTP Client (FileZilla)
- Download and install FileZilla (or any FTP client).
- Create an FTP account in Plesk: Websites & Domains → your domain → FTP Access. Your main hosting username already works too.
- In FileZilla’s Quickconnect bar enter:
- Host:
ftp.yourdomain.comor your server IP - Username / Password: your FTP credentials
- Port: 21
- Host:
- Drag files from the left (your computer) into
httpdocson the right (the server).
Tips
- Files in
httpdocsare live immediately — refresh your site to check. - Upload a zip and extract on the server when moving many files; it is much faster.
- If your changes do not appear, clear your browser cache or check you uploaded into the correct domain’s
httpdocs.
