There are two easy ways to get your website files onto your 7x hosting: the Plesk File Manager (no software needed) or an FTP client like FileZilla.

Option 1: Plesk File Manager

  1. Log in to Plesk and go to Websites & Domains → your domain → File Manager (or Files in the left menu).
  2. Open the httpdocs folder — this is your website’s public root.
  3. Click Upload and choose your files. To upload a whole site, zip it locally, upload the .zip, then use Extract Files.
  4. Make sure your homepage file is named index.html, index.htm, or index.php.

Option 2: FTP Client (FileZilla)

  1. Download and install FileZilla (or any FTP client).
  2. Create an FTP account in Plesk: Websites & Domains → your domain → FTP Access. Your main hosting username already works too.
  3. In FileZilla’s Quickconnect bar enter:
    • Host: ftp.yourdomain.com or your server IP
    • Username / Password: your FTP credentials
    • Port: 21
  4. Drag files from the left (your computer) into httpdocs on the right (the server).

Tips

  • Files in httpdocs are live immediately — refresh your site to check.
  • Upload a zip and extract on the server when moving many files; it is much faster.
  • If your changes do not appear, clear your browser cache or check you uploaded into the correct domain’s httpdocs.
