Moving your WordPress site to 7x is straightforward. You can do it yourself with a plugin, or let our team handle it for you.

Option 1: Free Migration by 7x

Open a support ticket and ask for a website migration. Our team will move your files, database, and email accounts — usually the easiest and safest option.

Option 2: DIY with a Migration Plugin

  1. On your old host, install a migration plugin such as Duplicator, All-in-One WP Migration, or UpdraftPlus.
  2. Create a full backup package (files + database) and download it.
  3. On your 7x hosting, install a fresh copy of WordPress via the Plesk WP Toolkit or our one-click installer.
  4. Install the same plugin on the new site and import your package.
  5. Update your domain’s nameservers to point to 7x (see our nameserver guide).

Option 3: Manual Migration

  1. Download all files from your old host via FTP.
  2. Export the database via phpMyAdmin (SQL file).
  3. Create a new database in Plesk (Databases → Add Database) and import the SQL file.
  4. Upload your files to httpdocs via FTP or File Manager.
  5. Update wp-config.php with the new database name, user, and password.

After Migrating

  • Test the site thoroughly before switching DNS — check pages, images, forms, and logins.
  • Keep the old hosting active for a few days until you are confident everything works.
