Every hosting plan includes limits on disk space and bandwidth. Knowing what they are — and how to check them — helps you avoid surprise overage or suspension.

Disk Space

Everything stored in your account counts toward disk space:

• Website files and images
• Databases
• Email stored in mailboxes
• Backups kept in the server repository
• Logs and temporary files

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is the data transferred between your account and visitors — page loads, downloads, uploads, and incoming/outgoing email. It resets each billing month. Busy sites with lots of traffic or large downloads use the most.

How to Check Your Usage

1. Log in to Plesk.
2. Your domain overview shows disk space and traffic used versus your limit — usually on the right-hand panel or under Statistics.
3. You can also see service limits in the Client Area under Services → My Services.

If You Are Near the Limit

• Empty trash and old backups stored on the server (keep them downloaded instead).
• Remove unused mailboxes or clear old mail — attachments eat space fast.
• Delete staging sites, old installs, and unused databases.
• Optimize oversized images — they are the most common space hog.
