An SSL certificate puts the padlock in the browser bar and enables HTTPS. 7x hosting includes free Let’s Encrypt certificates — here is how to issue one in Plesk.

Before You Start

Your domain must already point to your 7x hosting (correct nameservers or A record) — Let’s Encrypt verifies ownership by connecting to your domain, so DNS must be live first.

Issue the Certificate

1. Log in to Plesk (via the Client Area or your server URL).
2. Go to Websites & Domains and expand your domain.
3. Click SSL/TLS Certificates (or the Let’s Encrypt option).
4. Enter an email address for renewal notices.
5. Tick what to secure — typically yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com, plus webmail and mail if you use them.
6. Click Issue / Get it free. Issuance takes under a minute.

Force Visitors onto HTTPS

1. Stay on Websites & Domains → your domain.
2. Open Hosting Settings.
3. Enable Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS, then save.

Notes

• Let’s Encrypt certificates auto-renew roughly every 60–90 days — no action needed.
• “Not secure” still showing? Clear your browser cache and confirm the redirect setting is enabled.
• Mixed-content warnings? Update images/links inside your site from http:// to https://.
